Electronic identification through a mobile application is expected to be built within 2022

By its decision, the government instructed the Minister of e-Government to build a technological capability for electronic identification through a mobile application within 2022, as well as to propose the necessary changes in this regard in related legislation.
The purpose of the adopted act is to provide an additional opportunity for remote identification of users of electronic administrative services during the current calendar year.
This solves the long-standing problem of the lack of a widespread, accessible, secure, easy-to-use and free means of electronic identification via mobile device.
