Bulgaria is one of the EU leaders in the implementation of the open data policy in 2017
According to a survey of the European Data Portal for 2017.
Bulgaria ranks among the leading European Union countries in the implementation of open data policy, according to a survey of the European Data Portal for 2017.
The data for Bulgaria were submitted to the European Commission through the "European-wide Questionnaire for the Evaluation of the Status of Open Data for 2017 in Bulgaria". The questionnaire was completed on the basis of the annual public consultation that the State Agency for Electronic Governance held with all administrations in May and June 2017.
Measuring the maturity of open data policy over three consecutive years shows that EU Member States are making considerable efforts to improve the publication of open data, as our country is among the leading companies in the field (the so-called Trendsetters) .
The report also points out that, in general, European countries are at the forefront of open data and globally.
