DAEU PRESENT THE PROJECT NATIONAL PORTAL FOR SPATIAL DATA
The portal will provide spatial data and services to the state administration, citizens and businesses
State Agency for Electronic Governance presented the project "National Spatial Data Portal (INSPIRE)" at an opening press conference in the capital. Establishment of a National Spatial Data Portal e in order to fulfill Bulgaria's commitments under Directive 2007/2 / EC for the creation of an infrastructure for spatial information in the European Community (INSPIRE), announced Ivan Modev, Director of Planning and Management of Activities and e-government projects "in the EAU. He emphasized that the implementation of the project will improve the spatial information infrastructure and spatial data exchange processes under the Spatial Data Access Act.
The project envisages the construction and implementation of a National Spatial Data Portal, drawing on good practices from the INSPIRE Portals of other EU Member States, which will provide fast access in machine-readable, open format to all available content of the spatial data. It will enable public institutions that collect, maintain and distribute spatial data bases and provide public services and have reciprocal access to their spatial data-related data sets supported by them.
The total value of the project is BGN 1 361 386,00, of which BGN 1 157 178,10 European and BGN 204 207,90 national co-financing. The deadline for the implementation of the project is 31.12.2019. The project is implemented under the administrative contract № BG05SFOP001-1.002-0014-C01 / 11.10.2017 and is implemented with the financial support of the Operational Program "Good Governance" 2014-2020 , co-funded by the European Union, through the European Social Fund.
